DIGNITY, an organization for Catholic and other Christian gay women and men, welcomes new members. Meetings are at Hallinan Center, CWRU. The Cleveland chapter of HOME (Home Oriented Maternity Experience) provides information and support to expectant parents considering home or home-like childbirth. Their resources include a library, a monthly discussion series and support group, counseling on nutrition and early pregnancy, and referrals to childbirth classes. The Cleveland Infant Formula Action Coalition (INFACT) is stepping up its activities to better inform the public of the boycott against Nestle's and its subsidiary Stouffer's. Actions will include picketing, media exposure and the distribution and sale of informational pieces, buttons and bumper • stickers. Nestle is the subject of an international boycott because of its unethical promotion of infant formula in developing countries.

LIGHT, the Women's Coordinating Committee of the GEAR Foundation, holds its regular meeting the first Tuesday of each month at the Gay Com-munity Center, 2641 West 14th Street. The 2nd Thursday meeting is an Open Rap and the 4th Thursday focuses on a specific topic of interest. Hard Hatted Women is a support and information-sharing group for women working in or actively seeking non-traditional blue-collar jobs. Not all these jobs are actually "hard-hatted" or blue collar, but all are nonmanagerial. Group members work in heavy industrial, manual and skilled technical jobs that traditionally have been held by men. Hard Hatted Women meets the fourth Sunday of the month, from 1 to 3 p.m., at WomenSpace. The Cleveland Pro-Cholce Action Committee is an ongoing activist organization dedicated to full reproductive freedom for all women. We have monthly meetings where we discuss political issues and plan our ongoing work. We disseminate information about a woman's right to choose, about the dangers of the so-called "Human Life Amendment,' forced sterilization, contraceptive rights and other pressing issues. We are involved in defense of the clinics, and supporting other women's

causes.

Women for Sobriety is an organization that helps women overcome drinking problems by sharing feelings and setting goals in a supportive group setting. Helen Forelle, author of Conversations In a Clinic, is working on a sequel, recording the thoughts and emotions of women after they have had an abortion. Anyone who has had an abortion is urged to participate by writing her feelings or recording them on a cassette tape and mailing them to-Helen at P.O. Box 326, Harrisburg, S. Dak. 57032. Your identity is not needed and you are asked to omit it from your correspondence. The statements will be used at meetings and will be edited for inclusion in a pro-choice pamphlet to counteract misleading and exaggerated claims by so-called "pro-life" activists. If you are willing to say, "I had an abortion, I don't regret it, and I've had no adverse physical or emotional effects from it," please take the time to write.

An appeal has gone out from Lucille Provero, President of the Elizabeth Cady Stanton Foundation, for donations to save and preserve the Stanton home, which has been threatened by a housing development project. The foundation's goal is to raise the necessary funding to purchase the house from Ralph Peters, the Seattle man who bought it last year as an interim preservation move. Elizabeth Cady Stanton conceived the resolutions included in the First Women's Rights Convention "Declaration of Sentiments" July 19, 1848.

The Volunteer Projects component of Women Together Inc. is conducting an on-going volunteer recruitment campaign to better serve battered women.. Women Together needs volunteers in the areas of childcare, crisis-line phone service, support group facilitation. direct service counseling, and public speaking. Requirements are that volunteers be sensitive to the needs of women, particularly battered women. Experience is helpful, but not mandatory. We offer training in each area of service. Kentucky Collection of Lesbian Herstory is a committee of the Spiral Wimmin's Land Cooperative. The focus of the Archives is to gather materials and to continue networking.
